Original Item: Only One Available. Fantastic Great War or earlier J.A. Henckels of Solingen fighting hunting knife. Features a nickle plated double edged wide blade that measures 8 inches in length and is 1 1/4 wide. The ricasso is nicely marked J.A. Henckels Solingen with company logo. The hefty grip is either Bakelite or wood and bears a fine deep checkering pattern and measures 5 1/4 in length. Between the grip and blade is a small steel guard. Overall knife measures 13 1/2 inches. This style knife was classic for use in trench warfare during World War One.
